Morning everyone.

I had a terrible night sleep. Just after I got into bed last night I could hear noises in the house. I got up to investigate and found it was scratching and rustling coming from the pantry.  Horrified I realised it must be a mouse. I was too scared to open the pantry door in case it ran out at me. I got back into bed but couldn't stop thinking about it.

This morning (after locking myself in the bedroom) my DH went to see the damage. No sign of the mouse, but 2 opened packets of white beans, a packet of coconut and a packet of pasta. What a mess! Thankfully 99% of the things in the pantry are in sealed containers.

But the mouse is still somewhere here, hiding, freaking me out.

I here!  Took a little while to get to sleep but no ill effects from that second, very strong cocktail.  I think I know who bought it, sorry Gert you were telling the truth when you said it wasn't you LOL.

Katie I hope Richard catches that mouse,  CC said to use chocolate as bait.  I would have been the same as you.  Hope you are feeling much better this morning although last night's lack of sleep will mean you're very tired.

Off to the shower then down to breakfast.

. . . sounds like he's been reading the forum and wanting to try some of the recipes on here!!  ;D ;D  Katie, just remember - there's not a thing that little guy/girl can do to hurt you and it's more terrified of you than you are of it . . .  I really don't mind micel -just not in plague proportion and certainly NOT in the house!!  Good luck with moving it on!!

Morning all picked up kids from DD's house and did the school run. GD  3 years vomited on the way home and is now asleep  on the sofa. Giving baby his bottle now and hopefully he will sleep too and I can have a nana nap. LOL no chance of that but a quiet coffee will do me nicely  :D

When is DS's birthday Frozzie? Hope he has fun  :D

Oh No MF, vomit - not a nice start to the day. Hope GK is feeling better soon and hope you can get rid of the smell from the car.

I'm at work, just having my lunch. No luck catching the mouse last night.

So long as the mouse didn't jump into your bed Katie  :o LOL

Yes poor little boy. Luckily it was mainly on his clothes and not all over the car so it shouldn't stink. I hope not anyway but glad it was DD's car and not mine. Using hers as it has all the child seats fitted.
