Isn't it gorgeous, CC!!  The photos of these birds when they're first taken out of the cages they're kept in are extremely distressing - so cruel.  Usually, they have few feathers losing them through the extreme stress, and the cages themselves offer no comfort - nothing comfortable to stand or sit on . . .So this one, I think her name is "Sweetie" -looks as though she really appreciates what a good home she's landed in!!  ;D

Bet you are glad you don't have to go out in the blizzard then DJ - enjoy your day at home for a change.

What extremes in temperature from one end of the globe to the other. I can't imagine what a blizzard would be like. Hope you can stay warm and safe DJ

Am not out in this one but have been in the past. Yes thanks warm and safe, although the gas fire is not great, rather envious of anyone with log fires.

if you are out tis cold and very wet as the snow sneaks in the crevices of one clothing and melts inside fast.... Last winter was out in snow feeding my pony and the sheep. It feels strange being cooped up indoors with no animals.

This is actually not too bad, unless of course you're trying to travel.

Got to take a trip via Shanks pony to the letter box about 700 yds away later.
