amazing isn't it?  24 straight hours (or even a week, if it came to that!) of rain here would be an absolute blessing!  I've just been around the garden and there are some plants, shrubs, etc, whose leaves were left scorched by yesterday's heat

Morning everyone. Lovely day here too with bearable temperatures  - 26o, 32o, 38o, 32o over the next few days.  It seems most of Australia has a bit of respite from the heat today.

Jo I hope you have a lovely day with your Mum - I'm sure you will spoil her.

Morning everyone.
Just in from our morning walk and such a pleasant change as its cloudy with a strong cool sea breeze. We thought it may rain but I think the wind may keep it away. Lovely to feel cool air  outside again
Long may it continue for all of us  :)

Been really worried for all of you with the news. Only heard the radio, but it is still almost top news.
