Was just thinking of you fundj and when your grand baby was due, and the very first post I read was , waiting waiting waiting lol. You must be pretty excited as the time comes closer.
And my sister is still holding on, although at 6am yesterday she sent me a message to tell me to be on standby as she was having pains , but all settled down and bub is still there. I can't wait to see my little niece

I am tired today, have to work this morning, them take DS to Cairns for optometrist.

I must go and get my eyes re tested, I have had the same glasses for several years now, and I'm pretty sure my eyes have deteriorated since my last eye test. I only wear them for driving, although I should be wearing them for reading, watching tv, on the computer etc.

That she has. If going by the doctors who would like the baby born by 38 weeks means she only had 18 days to go at the most.

Hello hello,
Quick visit..
Packing kitchen today but not TMX. Not yet. But packed bread flour.
Only left out few utensils and couple of pans. Washed out drawers/ cupboards as I went.
Just DS and me here. He is quite ill so shut in his room ( comes out now and then at my request to m ove heavy boxes) so I hopefully  don't get it. Took his dissertation to uni last week, come back with freshers flu!!!!!
DD in new flat and job going ok. phew!
DH still painting other end. We've never been apart as much as these last few weeks. That has been horrible too.

Wonder how frozzie is doing? Havent time to read. Hope she is ok, and same to anyone else moving.
6 more sleeps til we're gone.
Now arranged my pony on 6 months loan with view to buy. Best I could do in the circumstances. Dog is now sold.
I never want to pack a whole farmhouse on my own again ..... Or be in this situation again.
 It is so depressing. I stick myself together with tape every morning. And battle on. Must get more boxes tomorrow too.
I wish I could be more cheerful but I can't, but I haven't quite cracked yet. Just had some pretty low points and then it gets better again, up and down like a big dipper. Moving is hell anyway but and enforced move is way worse than that.

Looking forward to cooking again and being on here, one day. Even thinking about recipes on here makes me want to cook and I've no time for that. Beef stew today for two days - all in one. Then will do a big pot roast for thurs and  3 days after that.

DJ, so good to hear from you. You have a mammoth job to do.
Glad that your holding up alright too. Hope your son is feeling better and can give you more of a hand.

Hang in there DJ you can have your breakdown when you get to your own home. No actually you  will have to unpack  first , put it  all,away and settle in.  Ok then you can have your breakdown.  Wait on, I don't think you can have it then either as you will be back on the forum and cooking up some treats while you contemplate your next jobs. Maybe  you will even be enjoying your  time off for a wee bit.  So I am thinking it will be about November before that complete breakdown can happen but then again your DS will be home from UNI for the Christmas bit and perhaps a family  get together with daughter too over the hols . So it looks like you  just have to plan to have your breakdown in January.

Nah by January you will have been so busy  and things will be going well for you. I believe you will not be having a  breakdown this year so  carry on and all will be well if wishes from  us will come true.  However when you are feeling down and out and all alone you just get in here and  talk to us. We won't let the " Black Dog " bite ya.  You can count on that.
