Morning everyone,

I was given a bamboo steamer yesterday and some Oca which I believe are Maori potatoes (but could be wrong)

Can any tell me what is the best way to cook them ?   I think I need to soak the steamer first,  is that right?

Looks like it is going to be a find day here although the sun is not up yet.

'Morning CC.  Morning ladies.  I don't have much planned for today, so might do a bit of sewing.  I'm making dog coats for a dog rescue centre I support.  Already bought the fleecy material.  I just need to get on with it.

How is your mouth feeling Uni?

Thats great Uni, you are so lucky to have someone to make things for you.  It will be great for storage of the cans.

That looks delicious Uni, I could only imagine how much you will enjoy it.

Now I feel bad for complaining when I had  root canal treatment in January, good luck tomorrow H, you will have to let us know how you go , my dentist mentioned it too, I pretended I didn't hear  :-))

It was booked in a while, i sort of forgot as I know its going to be painful & costly. He said that if i did not have the crown the root canal can be damaged. So what do you do? Leave it have to do it again or take the risk & it will be ok. Its one of my good chewing teeth.

Nt happy Jan & a ton of cooking, washing, cleaning & a playover all planned for today.

I had to have 2 crowns last year. 1 got infected and had to have it redone, and now that tooth is broken a part off.

It can stay that way now..
