Oh, and I'm turning 47 this year Amy. I was a late starter in the parenthood game.

Golly Amy, you do have a young Mum. What a pity she hasn't been well.

I'll tell her you said that cookie, she will be very pleased :D She was 30 when she had me, so its always easy to remember our ages. I'm 17, so she's 47 ;D
I will confess that I have forgotten her age a couple of times and resorted to that method of working it out :-))

Thats not necessarily a bad thing deedub. I would rather be born to mature parents with a stable home and income than a teenager with no job or education ;)

Morning all down under and evening northeners 😊😊

Lots to catch up on.. Enjoying a glass of bubbly (not champagne but cremant).. Have to drink most of our wine and champagne before we leave as oz taxes you a crapload if you bring it.. Not impressed but at least i ill be merry over the coming months (happy drunk is moi)

Dd came out with chicken ox yesterday and everything is closed as yesterday was bastille day but found a good natural remedy online.. A cup of bicarb soda in a shallow warm bath .. Works a treat as dd was screaming until 1h30 this morning before we put her in th bath with the bicarb.. Peace at last and we got some sleep!!

Today dd got stung by a bee as well.. Stinger was well into her finger.. Think she got a bit curious

Off to the hospital tomorrow for a scan as have had. Lump under my arm for a while but its sore and doc thinks its nothing but just want to be sure..

Hope to get boxes soon so can start packing non frgile stuff...time is going o fly..

Hi Frozzie...
Remember the chicken pox.... DS first then DD and ExH broke out with it on same day. He was VERY ill and I had to see to them and the sheep as he was flat out. I do remember bicarbonate of soda in the bath to ease the itching for DD.

Enjoy the wine.
