I have never seen one of those TENS machines before DJ. I will have to look around for them. I have been to the doctor four times now about my ribs and nothing has been working. Can I go to a physio myself or do I need a referral?
I still don't really know exactly what is wrong. And I don't know how to find out. I just know that it hurts!!! :(
I haven't heard of Voltarol. I am going into town tomorrow so I can stop at the chemist and ask. I have some Arnica cream but I never remember to rub it in and its quite awkward to get it all the way around my ribs. I usually put heat packs on my ribs at night, but it doesn't really help :P
I'd never be able to have Acupuncture. I'm too scared of needles. But I have been wondering if I should try one of those alternative therapies because nothing else seems to be working.
Thanks for all your help DJ :-*

And thanks MJ as well :)

Amy, a TENS machine is brillant, My Mum has one. So good for aching pain in muscles.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Yes, I hope you find relief soon, Amy.

If there's anyone that loves to crochet, I'd love to buy a few of these in different colours.

Amy, have you thought of getting a second opinion from another dr?

I've actually already been to two :-\ The second one just sort of went along with what the first one said though ???

How many second opinions are too many?

I don't think you should ever tell the dr that you are there for a second opinion...they don't like to go against their colleagues opinions. Ask around for a good dr and go see him/her and don't mention your visits to the other drs.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
