I am loyal to a brand if it has stood the test of time, has good back up service and a wonderful forum like ours to compliment it.  I doubt there will ever be anything other than a Thermomix sitting on my bench.  This machine has made so much difference to my life through this forum so why would I want to leave here and go somewhere else to talk about a different machine.

Not going anywhere else just was curious that's all. With my two bowls I can do a lot anyway, just something someone said to me today set me wondering, that's all  :)

Jess if you wanted the new machine to do exactly the same as the thermomix then I would go for the same again. If you wanted it to do something different I would look for a machine that could do the different things, but still please you like the thermomix.
I think it could be very hard to include a new machine into your regime, but it could help reduce the load on the thermomix.

All clear as mud, I think.

Hello all, Well lovely theories girls.... Thanks for your thoughts.
It was just an ask, ain't gonna happen.  ;D
Just waking, rotten nights sleep and two days of horrible sorting and end of year accounts ahead. The moves mixed everything up.  >:(

Off to make tea, hope to be on much later today when making progress in this terrible task.

Oooh, Three Bowls! Now there's an idea!!!
Sometimes I've wondered what a less expensive version would be like as a back up, but I think I'd always be disappointed and therefore it would be a waste because I'd always use my TMX, there are some things others just can't do! I just can't imagine another machine being as versatile, and dependable on across so many areas....and I'm sure the level of service is no where near as great.

Happy new year everyone.
Tea break amidst our major sort out. DH being so helpful  and we managed without a cross word  :D
Huge amounts of recycling and shredding. It will make it easier to move IDC!

Nearly got everything I need for end of year accounts.
Trouble with getting mobile bills after changing networks. So complicated! Paper billing was easier for that.

Will be a huge relief tomorrow when done.
Enjoy the festivities.

I will buy another TMTHGY if and when. Right now, I'm not convinced about HMP and TM is the best so far. I got a 2nd bowl for Chrissy cos DD1 has moved out and I had lost my 2nd bowl and machine but another bowl is a godsend. Happy as a pig on slate  :D
