Afternoon oz

Stayed up until 1.40am to see the opening ceremony.. The beginning i found good then found it went a bit all over the place but thought it nice at the end how older athletes passed the torche(s) over to young ones who then lit the olympic flame..

Saying that im of the opinion that the 34 million or similar budget for the opening ceremony would be much better spent on world hunger or the homeless etc etc .. Find it such a waste of money imo

I caught some of the ceremony before work and a bit on patients T.V.'s. I'm sure their will be a encore showing, I forgot to record it.
I did see The London Symphony Orchestra playing Chariots of Fire and Mr Beans contribution. (very funny) and I'm not a Mr Bean fan.
