Thank you, ladies, for all the tricks of the trade.

I usually use tap water with detergent, speed 7 then take bowl apart. There are bits that get caught at the bottom of the blades. I use a tiny icing tip brush to get the bits off.

I've not tried cold waster before. That's an interesting one. Will give it a go.

And the extra flour then turbo till kingdom come :)

The cleaning of bread dough seems so inconvenient that I've stopped making bread using the TM :(

We have gone out in sympathy with you CC, Adelaide received 75.2mm in a 24 hour period - our wettest day in 45 years.  Flooding in many areas but no problems here.

It's certainly been a week of records
-  13 days of 40C-plus maximums this summer after the temperature reached 41.7C at 2.30pm on Wednesday.

— the warmest February night in 31 years. Overnight temperatures on Wednesday dropped to just 31.1C at 5.41am

Then all this rain.
Friday night netball has been cancelled 3 weeks in a row. The first two because it was over 36C at 5pm, and then tonight it was cancelled by the council due to the deluge.

I was wondering how Adelaiders were as I have just heard about the rain. What weird weather.

Oh ES that is terrible. Stay dry and hopefully normal weather will come soon. Fingers crossed for netball next Friday night. Hope everyone in Adelaide is ok and not flooded. Very strange weather indeed and still not a drop of rain in our town.

CC I hope the rain stops and you get some sun soon. What a miserable winter you have had.  Glad the DJ  can at least work inside and the sheep are ok. Poor cows though.
