Will try, I have what is called a zero contract on the table. No guaranteed wage as paid for hours worked at x per hour.
I haven't signed it yet.

Thanks H and Frozzie. It's not great as DH away again and can't really plan anything if suddenly sent home early. Luckily tonight I was able to catch up with a neighbour and they gave me spag Bol kindly and pancakes! That helped a lot.

Hang inthere dj.. I would still get onto the agency as i dont know any age,cy that books jobs then allows a client not to pay for sending home early.. ?? Usually the client pays anyway unless they cancel enough in advançe... Would just enquire as if the agency is paid a,d you arent there has to be some rule against that??

Niçe that you got to catch up with your neighbour..!

Thanks for, your care and suggestions everyone.
The agency got a finders fee for me. The work is between employer and me. Not like admin temping. I am paid direct by employer.

Morning all.  It does sound a bit messy DJ - I send my agency care workers home earlier if I can but they get paid for the contracted hours through the agency which pays them - it doesn't come out of my pocket (just out of my allocated time).  They wouldn't like it if you walked in and said you were knocking off early as you had a dentist appointment or something.  Going to be a hard one to bring up but I don't know if I would be signing a contract which says you will only be paid for the hours worked not the hours booked.  If there are no other jobs in the offering though, you would hate to lose this one.

MF Jackson is so gorgeous. Wish the forum had a cuddle feature. Give him a big cuddle for me please.

CC your pictures look like postcards. Really lovely view.

Keep warm DJ. It's not fair you get sent home early without pay. They just don't know how lucky they are to have you.

Sorry about this tea lid Marie. Perhaps a spot of shopping to source a new one ;)
