KAtie how exciting. We lived in Carnamah for 3 years. Don’t forget to go and see the big tractor. It will be hard to miss as it’s on the main road. There is a nice caravan park in Carnamah. It’s a small country town but we enjoyed our time there. Coorow (the town before Carnamah) has a good caravan park too.  Three Springs the next town up the road has an excellent free camping area too.  I’m quite jealous as we would normally be up there this time of the year, but with the motorhome back at the dealers we are stuck at home.
Tapatalk isn’t working for me, but I posted about the big tractor here. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10298.msg455917;topicseen#msg455917

We had a Beef, Mustard, Honey and Mushroom casserole. There is enough left over to make a pie some time.

I bought a packet of Lamb Shanks in Red Wine Sauce to have with mixed roast vegetables and broccoini for the men.  I pureed an egg omelette for myself.

Made smoked orange marmalade. Thought it might be nice with Duck.
I’ve sent 6 in for a service so tried making jam in 7 for the first time. Very good as bowl larger for same recipe.  I thought there may be not enough space for the steam to escape during cooking. However the smaller hole in lid seemed to be enough.
Bought the latest TMX magazine. Noticed a Queen of Puddings that I used to make ages ago. There is also a recipe for Portuguese bread rolls. Might give them a try. 700 g + of flour , 1 teaspoon of yeast.?

Cookie we are going tomorrow lunchtime from Dowerin to Carmah  . We are trying to book and work out as we go ! I’m up for the wildflowers but also going in land . Last night was stressful at about 2.30 am the pump in the van started to make very loud noises. DH had to go out to investigate it was freezing and water everywhere! Short story all go the hot water over heated . Today was good but I’m tired, so is DH . DS saw a few uni friends ( how amazing is that ) one lives in WA and another working here . We are few camping here tonight , no power . Back to field day tomorrow. Yes Cookie I cannot believe how cold it is , we nearly shivered all night the other night. But sun out today so that’s better .

Katie how lovely. You will love the Dowerin Field day, we have often gone. You have come over in lousy weather, it’s been very wet and cold.  Most unlike us over here. You may see some wildflowers on the way to Dowerin. A little further north there are heaps. Let me know if you are going that way and I’ll tell you the best places to find them. It’s not far from Dowerin, about 200-300km I’d say.
