Chookie, both those outings sound good.  We had some giant Gippsland earthworms on one of our previous properties.  You could often hear them under the ground.
I have nothing against earthworms, Margaret, in fact I think they are wonderful things ... but I don't think I could handle ones that are so big you can actually hear them

We didn't hear them very often Marina and they don't make a loud noise.

Today I am off to the Dr to see if I can get something else to relieve this gastric problem I have.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Enjoy Chookie Echuca is a great place. Relaxing after a huge long weekend . Family had a great time amazing setting , one must look at the web site were we all stayed , mind boggling. Goonoo Goonoo Station Tamworth. We had a little flight delay with high winds in Sydney on Sunday .. meant we arrived home 12.30 am .. school next day and on the road to Melbourne Monday after school . Dentist for DD and I cracked a molar so temporary crown for me . That sore knee had an MRI ...not good I have torn something and need to see orthopaedic surgeon. The good comes with the bad as the drought was so devastating in Tamworth , everything was crispy brown . The joy of the wedding was needed .

Vouchers can be so helpful, and they get business for the issue ing business

Definitely the good and the bad there K Atie. The drought sounds dreadful and I find the vision on TV very disturbing.

I had my hair cut this morning.  It took me 40 minutes to travel the distance that usually takes me 12-15.  Then I was late, which I hate.

K ATIE, you seem to lead a very busy life. Hope the tooth and knee are ok.
With the terrible drought, even as we drove North into Victoria , it seemed to get dryer.

It certainly does.  Echuca is such a nice place.  Enjoy the rest of your break up there.

Picnic in the forest today,  then Trivia night at local hotel.  Our travelling companions are Trivia champions.  Ral and I are hopeless but will enjoy the fun.

Enjoy the night Chookie, you will nail any cooking questions and between the 4 of you I expect you will do very well at the Trivia night.

Thanks Judy, we are looking forard to a Fun night.  So that we can have one full meal and a second meal for 1/2 price, we had to answer a music question.  What was the most popular Australian music album of 1977 ? ( Mandy looked it up )

Today we sat in the sun, by the River and had a picnic lunch. Lovely.

Tomorrow we are going to take Bruce and Mandy to lunch at Masons in Bendigo. It is our Birthday present to them.
We are also going to visit the Bendigo Woollen  Mill shop.

Trivia nights are usually fun, I'm hopeless at them.

Mum used to do a lot of knitting and always bought her wool from the Bendigo Woollen Mills. Is the Bendigo Pottery still around Chookie?
