If that is the case, Katie, I would go with Cookie's suggestions - with triple chilli!!!

Marina I’m off to Google Highpoint Shopping mall

Wow, that looks very impressive Marina. It could damage anyone’s credit card.

Today we went to visit the latest human addition to the family. She’s just 5 months old and is very cute.

Caught up with DH family members for a quick catch up. Did some shopping and then watched DS Hockey game, they won ! So now it's getting close to the finals . DS drove one of the utes in as he needs to get home during the week. This becomes a little difficult as there are all sorts of permission forms for school to have a car there .

We had a friend drop in today. He and a group of friends have just completed the Canning Stock route. It’s a real outback trek full of very steep as hills that take several tries to get over. They enjoyed the trip but said it was hard going.

Marina, Highpoint was our shopping center for years when we lived in Melbourne and Cherokee. Very dangerous place.
Yesterday I attended my first Book Club meeting with Probus. We had the option of having lunch first. It is held in a separate room at a big hotel. Average pub food. The meeting was very entertaining as there was a big divergence of opinions. I think I’m going to enjoy this.

That’s good Chookie. I enjoy my Bookclub. There is only about 8 or so of us but we have some good discussions. Occasionally if I really dislike the book I won’t finish it.

KAtie, Commonwealth by Ann Patchett.  I gave it a 3/10.
Today I drove to Daylesford. Quite a challenge for me to drive this far. I went shopping!   Had lunch, inspected a place where I might stay a couple of nights. Rather luxurious. Bought some gold dust to sprinkle on cakes, trifle pavlova etc. pair of smart pjs and a couple of cooking books of course.

Good trip, Chookie.  That road to Daylesford would have been pretty quiet mid week I should imagine, so a good one to experiment with as your first long drive.  Daylesford gets pretty hectic at the weekend but is such a nice town you will love a break there.

My memories of Daylesford are that I would have liked to stay a lot longer. DH wasn't interested though.

I've done the ironing and very little else today.

Well done Chookie, I loved our outing to Daylesford with you and Ral when Denise and I were over.
Today I cleaned a friend’s bathroom then came home to work on my bedroom drawers, just 1 tall boy to do now and that will be another room done. Took a huge bag of clothes, mostly summer ones, to my friend for her church op shop. I’m being really brutal with my culling this time around.
