It looks good Chookie, bet they had fun trying it out.

I’ve been pretty busy with the kids over from Melbourne this week but they went back to Melbourne this morning and I’ve picked up my SIL to take her to a Celebration of Life for her and DH’s cousin. Nice to see their relatives, it’s been a while.

I’m sure you enjoyed your Melbourne visitors Judy. Do they stay with you?

Spent days sneezing, gave up today ,rested . Meanwhile DH DS are out spreading slug bait , water to spraying contractor , moving sheep and I think DS is using his digger to pick up fencing posts . Too cold today , I know this when the boys come in and grab T-shirt’s as an extra layer. Feed the cats gone back to bed ... hoping the boys will do dinner I did suggest they are in charge tonight .

Sometimes it is easier to deal with sadness with laughter KAtie. Toward the end of her life Mum would have accidents. We dealt with it by saying that next time she would be taken out to the front lawn and hosed down. It made her laugh and sort of stopped me crying. Of course we said the same thing the next time. 😀😀😀

Sounds like you have got your hand full, K Atie.

We have just gone through the fortnight from hell ... nothing too bad or serious and I'll tell you the story in a few days when I have a chance to sit back and relax (at least, I will get a chance to sit back and relax!)

Hopefully your MIL’s GP will sort it out K Atie, medication can be the cause of so many problems for the elderly.  When my DH had to go into a nursing home after 6 weeks in hospital almost a decade ago the staff at the home only thought he would live a week (I found that out much later) and took him off all his medication except his MS tablets for spasms. He lived a further 6 years due to the good care and management of staff and I daresay visits from family every day helped too.

It sounds like you’re going to be having a forced break Marina, take care.

Our worker decided to take today off , DH not happy at all ... but it’s always a challenge to coordinate it all . I’m the cook for lunch ...help . Better get on with it oh well another day gone and a household of unwell members too . Poor DS is not the best and he is the main helper today . I’ll just slip him some cough medicine at lunch . Wish me luck .
