DD had her second day of kindy today (well, 4 hrs - it finished at 12.30)  ;D
It didn't go quite as smoothly as the first day, and it was harder for me leave.

So I've spent the morning with DS doing errands.  One more week before he goes back to school, so it's nice to be able to have some one-on-one time with him.

Still taking things a little slowly other than that - DD had a gastro bug last week, and then me.  DH had it mildly, but then got "reactive arthritis" so he's been a bit of a mess too.  He's on steroids now and feeling pretty good, so hope that continues.

That gastro bug went right through my DD and her family then her best friend and her family - not nice.

I have the gardener here this morning - huge job cutting back a large shrub which sets down runners which root.  Not sure if he can remove it in the 4 hours he will be here so it looks like a return visit.  Better him than me doing it though  ;D

The gastro bug has been pretty lethal over here too. Touch wood we haven't had it but friends have been ill for a few weeks.

This morning I went into the city. RPH. I have volunteered to participate in a medical study thing. Today was for some tests etc and to see if I am suitable. I passed as suitable so far. DH wasn't so lucky/unlucky, his blood pressure was too low. I progress to the next stage now before I am accepted for the trial.

Ooooooo bliss. I have just waved goodbye to my 2 gorgeous children. They have gone with my Mum up to their cousins (my brother) place for a couple of days.
What on earth do I do now? Make a loooonnnnggggg drink and sit back and enjoy it with a book, go clean out the horse paddocks, do some long overdue housework, do the BAS and last years tax return, clean out my knicker drawer....

It is Friday after all :)
I had a few things planned, but was looking after a friend's daughter today, who had a nasty reaction to a beesting. We did manage to get DD's new school uniform, but came straight home. When we got home, all the kids in the street came over to play, so I had extra's for lunch, but No bread in the house as I didn't get to the supermarket. I made cheesy puffs for lunch which were devoured by the kids, and baked a sour cream loaf which has risen really well. I also baked a chocolate zucchini cake, but that is looking pretty flat. DS did a taste test and said it was good - especially with the choc chips.  Now just waiting for DH and we will get together with the neighbours for Friday night drinkies :)

Housework today, followed by a check up at the docs (all good, bub even managed to surprise doc with the strength of it's kicks!!  :D ), followed by a bit of paperwork  :-\, then dinner then sorting freezer as our farmer friend has had the lambs killed and he dropped in a whole lamb  :o  ;D, tired now so might have a bath and go to bed!  ;)
