Thanks cuilidh. They are the same website but it's very informative.  Now I just have to convince DH to enrol!

I spent yesterday afternoon baking 8 x 15cm marble cakes, a giant cupcake, muffin sized quiches, choc cakes, slice and this morning making batches and batches of buttercream icing. I have been going through eggs, butter, flour and sugar like no-body's business!
This afternoon I hosted a cake decorating party for my daughter and 7 of her friends. They had lots of fun making moulded decorations using marshmallow fondant, and then decorating their own cakes to take home. It was a lot of work for me, but they all had a great time and made some fabulous cakes.
Ive done all the dishes and am now enjoying a glass of white wine :

Very unproductive day as I woke up sooo sick. Sore throat runny nose and migraine.  Stayed in bed until 4.30 pm havnt been out of the house.  Did feel a little better around six so got up and DH had made a wonderful roast pork dinner complete with apple sauce. He doesn't go anywhere near the TMX though!!! Doesn't worry me, he is a great cook and I just laugh at all the dishes he uses!

ES, you are a great teacher (with so much patience) and your young guests did a great job with their decorating.  I bet they were so proud to take their cake home to show their Mums.

ES, the cakes look so good.
GHM, hope you are feeling better.

Today I made fudge, caramel and choc slice, about to make cakes, quiche, potato  and leek soup. :)

My DH is sick with the Flu, so I am cooking, he is watching super cars...

Yesterday's wedding was very nice. It was a little bit of a bogan wedding but a nice family wedding. DW got to catch up with some of her step siblings and there children. It was a bit of a shock for her to see kids that she baby sat in their mid thirties.

This morning I ran from DD's house to Kings Park did one loop of the park and ran home. Total distance 24km. Getting ready to drive back home so I can organize my self and drive 2 hours to another town for work. I need to be there early tomorrow so have to go tonight. I am staying in a B&B.

eS wonderful cakes.
den glad to hear wedding went well
I still feel pretty unwell although at least out of bed.  I am going to take  tomorrow off work even if I feel a bit better as  am so behind at home. I feel guilty already and havnt even rung in sick yet but when you work full time one day of being  unwell over the weekend is enough to disrupt my next week, should I be feeling bad about taking  tomorrow off?

Not at all GHM. It does put you so behind being sick over the weekend. If you are ill then take the day off and don't spread your germs throughout the work place.
