Today I made some old fashioned Chocolate Blancmange for my dessert.  I've been buying small chocolate desserts from the supermarket lately so decided to give this a  try and it tastes very nice  and I know what is in it.
Mab, have you tried making a chocolate mousse using avocado?  Might be worth giving it a go.

How did I manage to miss national chocolate day??  I will HAVE to do something about that today.  Perhaps Tim Tams for morning tea at work will do the deed.

My friend bought some Dubai chocolate last week - said it was extortionately expensive, but really nice.

Busy day in the kitchen this weekend.  Red lentil and tomato dahl, avocado chickpea wraps with semi dried tomatoes, creamy vegetable and cannellini gratin and a rainbow quinoa salad, I nearly made Hummus pasta as well, but didn't have enough good hummus (come to think of it, I didn't have enough time either!).

I am sure your DS has gone through so much since his accident, selling his lovely home must have been a huge wrench to him and his family.  I can see how you would all be sad losing such a wonderful home, full of so many happy memories, now you will make more at his new place.

I went on another walk this morning. Third day increasing my steps . Last two times I’ve gone for 50/40 minutes and DH has collected me . Today I did half and turned around . Last night my face was pounding , wisdom tooth removal taking awhile to settle down .
K Atie, keep an eye on your tooth pain, an infection in your mouth can be problematic and you don't want to go there.  Get back to your dentist of doctor if you are worried.

I think I need more sesame seeds Chookie.
We’re having Cauliflower soup with bacon dust and Sizzler toast.

I am all for more sesame seeds - I need as much help as I can get.

RTE's Creamy Tomato and Bean Soup - delicious

K Atie, I grew up on porridge - I make it with water, not milk, and load it with frozen blueberries and my cholesterol remains very good.  Hope it works for you.

Last night I made Creamy Tomato Bean Soup https://www.recipetineats.com/creamy-tomato-bean-soup/  to which I added some pasta and converted it to a delicious pasta meal.  It was really nice - DH was full of compliments, so this will now become a regular.

Thanks for your birthday wishes everyone.  I am now getting used to the trauma of being 70!

Staff took me out to dinner last night for my birthday - that means there's another decade gone by!  It was in a pub and all the food was vegan.  Although I eat and cook mostly vegan food, I had never had food like that before - really different and interesting, everyone enjoyed it.  I must start looking at the possibility of changing some of the foods I cook.

Looks like we're all on the move these days.

I often thought of doing a trip on the Ghan, but don't think I will ever talk DH into it!  Enjoy the journey and send lots of photos.

Judy, I often think of Gert and wonder how she is doing.  Please say hi from me.  We are involved in organising a big conference in a couple of years based in Brisbane and I am excited that we are looking at offering a trip up to Cairns as a side event.
