Thank you Judy sorry about that .
Chookie how clever are you . Where is the cabinet for ? Do air fryers only last so long ? They seem to be getting bigger last time I looked.

Well done Judy. I would have been muddled too.

I have been putting dinner leftovers into containers and freezing for DS to take back to Uni !! DS has been setting up the canopy on the back of the Ute , for his fridge etc . So he will be excited when he finishes this project . Boys chopped more wood . Hopefully tomorrow will be another sunny day as I have a bit of old linen bedding to soak and wash and air .

K Atie the cabinet I designed has 2 functions. One, I use table cloths as my extension dining table is glass. The cabinet bottom drawer will store table cloths without too many folds. Secondly, I can store my better crockery etc for when I have guests. In the top drawer. The cabinet has wheels so I can roll it over to the table and served from the top. I’m delighted with it. Chookie that sounds lovely and very useful.

Today we attended a Christmas in July lunch at the restaurant where our dear friend is in aged care. He invited us along which was very sweet of him and his daughter was there too. The food was quite acceptable for a large place and Frank was able to have a chat and go out. His daughter was able to wheel him down in his wheel chair. We then had coffee in a little cafe attached to the aged care place.

When I turned my phone on this morning I had a text from my brother asking if I knew a thermomix consultant. Within an hour he had ordered a TM 6.  She was thrilled and I was too, as I’ve been nagging for some time. They are giving the 31 away.

Cookie, how nice of you to share that activity with your friend. I’ll bet he enjoyed it.
I’m waiting for the frost to go so I can get out into the garden. Rain is forecast for the rest of the week.

Awoke to -4.1 degrees thus morning. DS left with Ute all packed up , new fridge and mini fridge as a freezer going . These great black bags from K Mart( that a friend put me on to , that replace the good old large check stripe storage bags that the zip would always break ) . Lots of food etc . Nearly seven hours of driving, but longer as a few stops to break the trip up . Me I’ll be washing !!
Too quiet without him .

Cookie, what fun. Keep trying.
I’m playing with my new AF today. It’s much quieter than the old Philips. It’s going to take a bit of getting used to as it has lots of functions. I think I will try bread rolls and quiche.

I'm back home after a second trip to hospital.  This time at Monash in Clayton.  I spent a week there this time and was only allowed home if I agreed to have a nasal gastric tube in just in case things decided to play up again and I would be able to use it to feed myself with a liquid food that was supplied.  Hopefully the tube will come out next week as I have to have a manometry done at St. Vincents in Melbourne.  There is no guarantee that his won't happen again so I have to be very careful about what I eat.

Just before I went to hospital my computer died and I had to take it to a local man to get a new hard drive.  I am now using Windows 11 and I just can't get used to it.  Fortunately the repair man was able to save all my files etc  but everything is so different on the new one and I am having trouble trying to find things.  Although I had backed up a lot of things recently I was worried I might have lost all my family history that I have been working on luckily it is still there if I could just find it.  I rang the repair man this morning and he has kindly offered to come at 2.30 tomorrow to show me how to use it.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab how good is it that they came come and help you . Sorry to hear you have been in hospital again .
Have to say I’m sick of the adds on here as come up each time you go to another page , only because you touch the star on the top right and half the time it ends up logging me out .

Margaret nice to hear from you but not that you’ve had more swallowing problems. I hope the manometry test goes OK.  I have an IT man that comes to me too but as I hadn’t used my computer for about 6 years I gave it to him last time he was here to help me with a printer problem.  I gave it a factory reset beforehand and it was so strange trying to use it after so long as I’m used to doing everything on the iPad now. I kept wanting to touch the screen instead of moving the mouse. Your lesson tomorrow will hopefully help you navigate the new system, remembering what he’s taught you might be a little harder, well it would for me anyway. Good luck with everything.

Mab, so good to hear from you. Hope things settle down.
I think as I get older the technology gets more involved. GD tried to fix it so I could post on Forum but today’s disaster shows I don’t know what I’m doing.
Playing more with new AF. The small drawer allows me to bake just 4 small muffins. I think this is handy. 5 minutes warming up and 10 minutes baking. This is 1/2 the time for my oven.
