Mab, that is so good to now know what has been causing all your trouble.
Had my hair permed last week. Washed it for the first time yesterday and now look like a Wooly Mammoth. Rang hairdresser and she will give me a blow wave today.
Yesterday went to a movie, ‘Thelma’ with Probus. About a 90 year old woman who was scammed and her effort to get her money back. This Probus group are a very nice collection of people who care about each other. I

I had my hair cut today. I’ve started having it done every 4 weeks now. The girl that was doing it has left. The one that cut it today did a good job but was a bit foul mouthed. I don’t think that type of language should be at a hairdressers. (Perhaps I’m getting too old!)
I went to the same place for 30+ years and now I’m having trouble finding a good one. I think I’ll go back once more and see if it’s any better I do like the cut though.

That’s not good for business cookie, I would be appalled too. Is she the owner of the business or one of the staff, I’d be mentioning it to the owner if it’s the latter.

I’m planting up some seedlings that I’ve grown . I’m also starting some seeds. Hope the weather improves in the next few weeks.
Yesterday 5 large young men, ( friends of GS) come and loaded on to a trailer, my large antique cast iron table and chairs. They gave up their lunch time to do this. I provided lunch. They demolished a large plate of Sausage rolls and  hash browns. Also Portuguese Custard tarts.

You are right Judy. I don’t know who owns the business. It is one of a group and seems to have different people each time I go. It’s at the local shopping centre and only employs 1 or 2 people.

Nothing important planned for today. I love a day like this I call it a me day. My DS says I need a social secretary to handle my Calendar.  I’m working with a local company to put Solar panels on the roof. Got DS to check specifications.

A trip to Bunnings today to buy some tomato plants for DS to put in his veggie patch.  We had to laugh as he asked if we could pick up some sweet pea seeds, it turns out he actually wanted climbing peas.  At least his garden will look pretty when they grow.

Big excitement here, we picked up our motorhome. To be known as The Shed because it is so big. DH drove it home and just before we left the dealer he dropped the GPS tracker that goes in it. One of the wonderful men there put it back together and it seems to be working fine. We now have it behind the gates.
When we have bought a caravan from these people we usually got a cap each. This time we were given all the water hoses you need for the MH. All the attachments for the hoses. Also an Acacia wood cheese board with cheese knives, two stubby holders and 2 dark blue Jayco tea towels. I don’t think they will dry much but who cares.
We forgot the MH has 2 tvs. One for watching in bed and one for in the dining area. We are feeling very spoilt and luxurious.

Very flash Mr and Mrs Cookie, how exciting for you. The dealer certainly showered you with extras, a nice bonus for being valued clients. Have fun guys!

Mr and Mrs Cookie, off you go. What, 2 tvs!
We had a frost overnight, so should be sunny today. Might be able to get out into the garden. Also might make some filo Asparagus, feta and Parmesan parcels.

I went up to the Westfield this morning to sort out if my RAC membership will still entitle me to roadside assist with the motorhome. Fortunately it does. There are only a couple of places you can I sure it as it’s so big.

RAC roadside assistance essential. I’m glad you could get it for your magnificent motor home. They came out and replaced the battery in my car which was still in the garage.
Yesterday , had 2 lots of visitors. GD who turned 22 . And next door neighbour. Now must make more biscuits. 60 Taylor Swift biscuits nearly all gone. I put red cherries on them. Red lipstick?
