That recipe sounds nice and it looks so moist too cookie, thanks for the link. Are slices and quiches really any different?

I used to think quiches always had a base but we have Chookie's yummy recipe. This is sort of a frittata thing. It was very nice. Like a zucchini slice but nicer.
Tonight we are having home made sausage rolls and veggies.

RAL won’t eat frittata. We occasionally have my Quiche which I love. I use different veggie each time. He was put off frittata by one my sister made. Absolutely awful.
Tonight crumbed lamb rump steaks. Steamed veggies.

I had a chuckle at this. My Dad would never eat quiche, but if Mum called it an egg and bacon pie he would eat it. He may have been stirring her too.
We are having marinated chicken on top of roasted veggies.

Happy Birthday Mab. How lovely not to have to cook.  I hope they did the dishes too.

Happy Birthday Mab.  What a thoughtful family.  Enjoy the food and company.
I bashed the lamb rump with the meat mallet and coasted with egg and breadcrumbs, sprayed lightly with oil and baked in AF.  160 most of the time then finished off at 200. Good result.
Tonight, might try a new recipe, chicken breast in dried tomato sauce.
