Thanks for the link JD :-* That website will be very helpful for me because I have been getting a bit confused with all the different grains, pulses, legumes, etc.

Could I use red lentils in this? I've never cooked with lentils before so have no idea of the differences. On another post someone said to try the Morrocan lentil soup from EDC but I jsut haven't got around to it. It good soup weather in Melbourne at the moment so thought I might give one of these recipes a try and use up the lentils.

Yes, you can use red lentils instead green ones Wonder.
