That would drive me nuts. I like my  washing  done, dried and back in the cupboard  within 2 hours. I hate it  when I forget and leave it in the washing machine.

Yes especially if you have a few loads to do it would take forever

That was the longest load, with pre-wash and drying. There are shorter loads, I just need to experiment with how they all work. I have heard that front loader washing machines take much longer to go through a cycle than top-loaders.

That's what I'm used to too. There's a 15 minute quick wash if I'm desperate, but to be honest the time doesn't bother me too much. It's only me & DS, so I don't have to do a whole lot of washing, normally only 2 loads of clothes a week. The sheets get washed every 1 -2 weeks, and towels every week. I'm normally pretty organised, I'll just have to make sure I stay that way when it comes to the stuff that needs to be dried.

I have a front loader and they definately take a lot lot longer! One of the thigs I find works well is to use the timer function so that the first load starts in the early hours of the morning so is ready to hang out when I get up.

Mainly concentrated on dh & ds today. I did buy 1 3/4 trousers & 2 tops & a cardi for me. Need shoes ;D plus plus ;D ;D

Bought dh 2 pairs of shoes, belt, t-shirts, & nibbles from. M&S. Ds got a ton of gap clothes. We took our passports so we get the tax back, so far over $50 to collect atthe airport :). We also bought a bottle of wine, paid $20 for a glass of cheap aus wine at lunch.

We are staying in the Rome Suite, its very luxurious, 2 toilets, huge sleigh  bed,, living & dining areas,we have a butler too. We were upgraded ;D :D ;D

Of to the club lounge for drinks & nibbles, then dinner.

Vivacity for shopping tomorrow & Marina Bay Sands which has the most amazing Louis Vutton store, i have been told :)

H :)

The coffee maker I brought DH for fathers day has been a real hit. It's so easy to use, the kids have even worked it out to make them self a hot chocolate. Although milk consumption in this house has definitely gone up. Be glad when the novelty wears off a bit :D

Hally there is the very best LV store out the front of the Ion shopping centre. They are really friendly. A great one near Takoshimaya too.
Have fun.
I love the washing machine. When we first got our front loader the time taken shocked us, but you soon learn to work round it.

Love my front loader. It has a 30 min wash cycle (quick wash) and that is all I ever use :D

Glad to hear that Kathryn as I intend getting one when my top loader carks it.  I was starting to worry about the length of time others were talking about though ;)

I went from top loader to front and back to top again. I prefer the top in all honesty  :o
