Nice to see you belong again Chookie and that the oven worked OK. You’re onto a good thing with your neighbours and I can see many things from your kitchen being sent over to them.

2 jars of caramalized red onion chutney.  They still need to have their labels.

DH went and had his glucose tolerance test today.  He’d been putting it off too. He had intended going last week. No cooking here.

Cookie, hate that test, been putting that one off also. At least it’s nor a fasting one.
GD called in yesterday. She has my original 2009 TMX. Loves it, especially for Risotto.

It's lovely that your GD loves your old thermomix. Risotto is so good in them, and you can vary it in so many ways.

I’ve been making Cookies Mrs Masons Nuts and Bolts. On to my second large packet of Nutrigrain.  Everyone loves them. Bought 5 containers of Strawberries to make more conserve. Sent a dozen Portuguese Custard tarts with RAL to the hospital yesterday.

I cooked a heap of potatoes in the Varoma today for potato salad. Boiled eggs in the basket of the thermomix and made custard in the thermomix. All ready to start creating our Christmas salads tomorrow.

Just a batch of lemon bliss balls (Chookie's recipe) for Xmas gifts and prepping the pie filling for dinner tomorrow evening.

I suspect I will be AWOL for the next day or two so wishing you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable Xmas.  Hope Santa is kind to everyone.

Merry Christmas everyone, here’s hoping those with families are able to catch up with everyone this year and make it a very special Christmas. It snuck up on us and will be over in a flash.

Marina thank you for all your posts that made me laugh this year, enjoy your break.

I’ve prepared all my salads, cooked a rolled chicken, made a terrine with pistachio and cranberry, and made trifle, fruit salad and an Icecream cake. I think we have enough food for a couple of days at least.

Merry Christmas everyone. May your day be relaxing and all the best for 2023.
