Well chookie that is all very interesting - sounds a bit like a friend of mine who always seemed to be making food for friends and family and the church.

BTW - I live in Yarraville and have a small farm at Redesdale, past Kyneton - so you are in a perfect position for me to stop off and refuel  ;) ;) ;) ;D

looking forward to more treasures

Hi from SA   I am still having trouble trying to communicate through  this site. I love my MR TOM (the new man in my life) after speaking with 2 friends about my new man,  without even having a demo they purchased. GRB

GRB, are there any questions you would like to ask which would help you with your postings on the forum? You only need ask and someone will come to your aid. I will PM you with just a couple of basic hints to see if that helps.  Glad your friends have bought a TMX too.

Welcome GRB. We are a very friendly lot and would love to help you in any way. We would love to hear what you have been cooking and about your families comments and those sorts of things.
I've had my machine for 12 months and the other day I made coleslaw puree. It looked disgusting. I put some dressing on it and fed it to DH and he ate it happily. (It did taste nice)

Welcome to a very interesting member!

I, too have an abundance of freezers. I have a chest freezer for meat, an upright for bread and cooked food and the two fridges both have freezers.

My pantry looks like I have prepared for a nuclear holocaust:

(Sorry to hijack your welcome post!)
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

hmm reminds me of a very dejected mother just about hanging up on moi 2 weeks ago, because moi works full time and doesn't have a spare freezer for Christmas day crap and can't devote a few hours before so (not even yet) about what people need to bring etc. We have a split freezer fridge with an ice maker but they actually are smaller than normal (teensy). Dear mum, if you wish to rent/buy freezer space as you so suggested (and I can't remember when we had Christmas Day at your house???) please put forth the money and alternative suggestions, and don't get narky with me because I have other things on my mind and a business to run which you never have had.
