Thanks again for all the good wishes. Today is the first day for about 4 weeks that Ral has asked for something to eat.  Thank God for the TMX.   He asked for a lemon slushy.  I do hope he is on the mend as it has been truly awful.

That's great Chookie, maybe next time it will be something more substantial but tiny steps are good.

Little steps, chookie, and good to hear.
Glad that perhaps the corner is turned for Ral.

That sounds like a great first step for him ... now that his interest in food is starting again I can see you scouring all your recipes for meals with lots of 'hidden' goodness in them to help build him back up again.

A very positive step in the right direction Chookie.
Hopefully Rall has turned the corner and will be able to start eating some light food soon.

Ral much the same..  We are not going back to Royal Melm.  Can't believe how bad the service was there.  Have an appointment with specialist tomorrow and hope to get some answers.  Keep you posted.  Thanks for the good wishes.

The Melb Hospital was supposed to phone or send a letter for the out Patients.  this didn't happen.  Our Dr said he couldn't wait so arranged an appointment with a specialist for tomorrow.  In the mean while the BBBBB car broke down on Saturday and had to be towed to Bendigo.  Friend offerered to drive me up there today but mechanic rang to say couldn't get part delivered until tomorrow.  Cancelled friend ,  then mechanic rang to say they took the part from another car in the show room.  same friend coming now to drive me to Bendigo.  Would you believe any of this ??
Bruce and Mandy are driving us to Melb tomorrow.  Poor Ral is just drifting with whatever and I don't know where i am. Someone asked if this was the third thing that had happened. I said yes,  the fox took the last 3 chooks.
I will let you know what happens tomorrow.
Thanks for all the good wishes.

Oh Chookie what an awful set of dramas you are having. Thank you for keeping us informed as you are both in my thoughts.
