Hi girls, I've been absent for few days & just popped back in for a look to see how things are going.  I notice that Pauls was the restaurant chosen for dinner on Thursday night.  Any particular reason for that?  While they serve good, fresh seafood that's all it is. Just fish or prawns and scallops fried or grilled with chips. I'm sure we can do better than that.

There is a great modern Chinese restaurant not far from the hotel that has some wonderful food including a signature fish dish that is to die for.  It is fish cooked in boiling oil which has been spiced with about 20 different kinds of peppers and chillis.  I am totally chilli-phobic and avoid it like the plague usually, but this dish is stunning - only mildly hot-spicy, but the fish is silky and tasty beyond your wildest dreams.  They have plenty of other dishes on the menu that will tempt, too.

Just a suggestion.

Paul's was chosen as Judy wanted to finalise the restaurant for Thurs night and none of us foreigners knew where so I suggested Pauls as a middle of the road easy access whatever.

Having  said that Amanda I m sure no one really is fussed where but I am with you I want THAT FISH.  So they can all go to Paul's and you and I can have the FISH. lol! My guess is that everyone will want to go to this place .I am guessing From Orient Amanda.

Click on View menu on this site. This restaurant is also in the Entertainment Book using the gold card and not a voucher but with the same deal of 25% off up to $40 in value with a max of 3 cards being used.

Thoughts please everyone.  Amanda are you joining us at the hotel on Thursday night?

And it is walking distance .

Maybe we can  have a 'free" night Friday and regroup for breakfast before the tour.

I agree Gert, Friday night lends itself to a free night after our 3 venues are visited. Some people will want to shop in Rundle Mall I imagine and not have a formal meal.
