Lucky you Robyn. My DH is at work before I even wake up.

I am sitting in bed, looking out a the pool and some birds having an early morning bath by diving into the pool. I always worry that they will make a mistake and drown.  Some critter has pooped all over my patio last night. .

Yeah I think it is an ibis . There will be lots more critters coming from the cane fields near by when they harvest soon, including rats and snakes .

Pity that glare is in the photo. I suppose I could get out of bed to take a snap.....

That looks just so lovely, Gert.  Know what you mean about night time visitors - we have possums that I swear use the dogs' beds out on the deck as trampolines (dogs have cozy beds inside at night ;D) - the noise can be frightening for those not used to it.  Rats and snakes have also been seen here - there's a golf course just a block away.  Neighbour came out to find a snake happily sunning itself near the carport.

Other than that we had an echidna visit us once in the back yard - have no idea where he/she came from but it was lovely to see!  And of course, the bush turkeys come and go at will . . . . .

We seem to have a few field mice around ATM. Naughty little critters. I think there is one in the roof, I can hear it scurrying around up there.

Wow, Gert what lush greenery you have around your pool. We have plants too, but they have only  been in 2 years, they are growing slowly.

Everything grow so fast here. It really needs a clean out but I ain't doing it. Cycads grow slowly. Later I will take a pic  of one that is about 80 years old.
