Hi all,
and a slightly belated Happy New Year!  I just don't seem to get online when DH is home from work...but today I've escaped to the office for a couple of hours do catch up on some paperwork (and catching up here as a bonus).

We're not hot here (about 21deg)- largely helped by gale force winds of 120-140kph!  NOT pleasant to be outside, and inside have to have most things shut as it's so windy.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

14 people Suzanne!!   :o I don't know where I'd put that many.  It was hard enough having a dinner BBQ for large-ish numbers (30 or so) and they were only there a few hours.
It definitely seems a lot quieter now with just the 4 of us at home.  Plus when I tidy up, it stays reasonably tidy....for a while at least. 8)
