Gert,  the travel agent was the wonderful Amanda Ralph,  who sat on her computer to find cancellations to get us home from Istanbul.

Evening lovelies.Just back from walking Chance.Very Muddy underfoot and the stiles were very slippery clambering over them. But caught this moment while Chance ran ahead following a scent.

Lovely photo CC, you do have funny words over there  :D  I had to look stile up to see what you were clambering over.

A bronze medal for Team Australia in the cold static kitchen today.  ;D They are having the awards ceremony as we speak and a farewell dinner tonight. A great experience for the 6 young chefs.

I know what a stile is CC and what a beautiful photo showing lovely weather.

Thanks CC  :)

In Scotland a stile is known as a dyke  ;D The word should really be used for some sort of structure to hold back water like a dam but is generally used for a stile.

No CC, if it means steps for you to climb a fence then I've never seen that here in our paddocks.  ;)

Congratulations to your GD MF. They have done so well.

CC we don't have stiles here that I know of. I have never seen any in WA. If you want to go over a fence here you basically climb over or through it. Gates can be several km's or 100km's apart.

With the pressure off I know GD and her mates will enjoy their farewell dinner tonight MF - they should be very proud of themselves.

Didnt the nursery rhyme "Crooked man walk a crooked mile. .. something something something stile"? That's the only time I've heard the word before :)
