He's made some gorgeous pieces. The rocking chair will be an heirloom. A beautiful piece of furniture that you both made.  :)

I had better finish getting ready for work. They called me last night to come in at 0600. Must be going to be a busy day.

Hope you all have a good day and evening.  :D

Well hope so, thanks Robyn, still waiting to sign while lawyers look into all the fine print etc etc.
Had to help DD for 24 hrs, back home now. Never dull with us, that's for sure.

Had a lovely swim yesterday too, hope to go again tomorrow. DH has meetings and is away all day so I hope I can go at 1pm when pool is quiet. Trying to get fit for the return or our previously active lifestyle.
However I need to finish my end of year books and tackle the hideous filing that I've been putting off....... for months and months.....
Support needed in this area please ladies!

CC,  that is one very professional piece.  What satisfaction you both will have when it is finished.   Does DH have a lathe ??

Yes Jess, the dreaded books and filing.
Thankfully my DH does all the filing, I put it on top of the filing cabinet.. :)

Lovely chair CC, you are a great team.  Nice to see DH takes an interest in your hobbies and helps out when needed.  The caning must be a very slow process - what do you do with all the ends, guess that's the boring part  ;D

CC what a beautiful chair. What a pity our DH's can't get together.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Good evening lovelies ;D
Thanks for the comments about the chair DH was chuffed ;D

The ends get plugged Judy and yes that is the boring part :D :D :D

DH has a lathe Chookie and other pieces of machinery in his workshop. He's just bought something new to make jigsaw puzzles for GS ;) ;D

I think our DH's would get on very well Cookie. :D
