Celereric Puree/mash
« on: October 17, 2011, 07:35:55 am »
Hi Just wondering if someone maybe able to help me please. Today I brought a Celeriac and have never tasted or cooked one before. Can anyone give some advice how I could do it maybe as a mash or puree. I am cooking a pork roast and thought it maybe nice for something different. Is it similar to doing mashed potatoes??? Thanks

used the recipe in EDC for mashed potatoes.  Used the Celeriac and made up the 1kg with potatoes. Was really nice and quite light.

Sorry Shazzy, I did answer this question earlier but I must have forgotten to click the 'post' button.
What I said was that I used a potato/celeriac topping for this tuna dish.  You must have got my vibes though as that is what you ended up doing anyway.

Thanks Judy - I had just never tasted one so didn't quite know what to do with it!!! Will have a look at that recipe though - sounds yum.
