What to start with
« on: November 11, 2010, 10:29:53 am »
Hopefully my TM will be here this weekend & I was just wondering how much wheat & what other things I will be needing to make my own flours, stock, etc or is this all in the book?. I did want to be prepared & have everything I needed so I can start cooking straight away so I thought I'd ask here & get peoples thoughts.
Thanks in advance :)

I'd get the ingrediants for the vege stock, the carrot soup and the nutella:) All important food groups covered.

I found the best thing to start with was the stock concentrate because so many recipes needed it - once it was there, it was easy to make most of the recipes.

Ice is also good to have - homemade ice makes a better sorbet, so start freezing ice now. frozen fruit doesn't go astray either. Ingredients to make cocktails isn't bad to have around...
