Rhubarb crumble

Name of Recipe: rhubarb crumble
Number of People: 4+
Ingredients:
8 sticks thin rhubarb (420gms)
30 gms light brown sugar
1/4 rind of small orange and juice

100gm SR flour
70gm whole meal flour
100gm butter
60 gms demerara or brown sugar
40 gms porridge oats (  I used jumbo oats with seeds)
20 gms ground almonds (optional)

Preparation:
Cut rhubarb into even sized pieces in an oven proof dish.
Put sugar and orange rind in  *: Blitz til done. Add to rhubarb. Pour over juice of orange.

Without washing  *: add flours and butter. Mix til crumbs.
Add sugar, oats and almonds. Mix together  speed 1 pr 2 til mixed.

Tip onto fruit. Spread across dish, covering all fruit.
Bake 180' C 20 to 30 mins till golden brown on top and fruit cooked.

Some people may prefer to add 20gm more butter, but we try to stick to less!

Feel free to tweak it.
I realised as I made it that I never write anything down, so it was strange trying to measure everything and write down to put on here. Most of my cooking is a bit of this and a bit of that except bread which requires accuracy, although more liquid is often added dependent on flour.
