Cooking Citrus Fruit in the Pressure cooker

A friend wants to make Nigella's Orange and Chocolate Cake and would like to know precise instructions for cooking the oranges in the pressure cooker - If my memory serves me correctly, the oranges take 2 hours to boil on the stove top.  Has anyone done this??  she's a little nervous about attempting it as she has only had the PC for a very short while.

Found this in a blog somewhere about cooking oranges in the PC

 "using the pressure cooker I was able to reduce the 'boiling' time from 2 hours to about 15 mins. I put some water in the bottom of the cooker and placed the oranges in the basket on top of the trivet. After they had cooked I cooled them a little then followed Nigella Lawson's Orange & Chocolate Cake recipe from her book, Feast. The oranges were very soft and blended up nicely and the cake turned out wonderfully moist and tasty."

When I make Orange Almond cake I microwave the oranges:

Wash oranges, quarter and cook, in a covered dish for 4 – 6 minutes on high in the microwave. Drain the water and allow the oranges to cool. This can be done ahead of time.

I don't know if this would be appropriate for the recipe your friend is trying, but it works really well.  I top and tail my oranges.

Yes I've done that too. I once had a Whole lot of cut up oranges left over from Netball as two parents had bought oranges for the team. There were too many just to eat, so I cooked them in the microwave and turned them into a yummy cake. It worked just as well as when I had previously made the cake with whole oranges the traditional way.
