Max 600g flour for bread, or 750 for more liquid dough.

Made a sweet filling this time - apple, cinnamon and walnuts with creme patisserie, and mango with creme patisserie. Very very nice. I wonder how they would freeze?

Make sure that the milk isn't too hot when you add the culture or yogurt, and don't mix it too much.

What a great thread to read, lol!

We were given two chickens who just had their outside feathers. After waiting MONTHS and MONTHS for them to lay, one started crowing. Eventually she started laying for us. She has a lovely temperament (particularly compared to the isa browns we bought at point of lay). Unfortunately she's not laying any more, and I don't want to keep her without getting any eggs. We need to replace her with another layer but need the coop space. She's going to retire at a friends house to live out her days (unless the fox gets her).

Made these last night to serve with Irish stew. They were delicious - such a great texture. I've never made scones in the tmx before, and now they are even easier!

A good idea although I only did BLS with my kids so no need for different meals or pureeing of any kind just what we were having really

Same here :D Makes life easier!

is looking all cracked. It's like the outside layers of plastic have cracked, but there is no actual splitting where liquid could get through

Don't think she means the little scratches from wash n wear, but fine splintering within the plastic that hasn't broken through the surface. I would just show it to your consultant and my guess is they'll give you another as they only cost $15.

Yes thats exactly it. I haven't got around to taking that photo yet - I should go do it now while there is enough light to get a decent photo.

Mine cracked and broke after 3 years, and I bought another. Take a pic and contact your consultant whilst your warranty is current..

Yes, will do!

I've had my TMX for 4 months, and the measuring cup is looking all cracked. It's like the outside layers of plastic have cracked, but there is no actual splitting where liquid could get through. It seems like something that would be caused by high heats, however it's only been put in the dishwasher on the top rack, normal cycle.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Haha. That's pretty cute though. Imagine the mess my kids would make if they had that.

Made meatballs and hidden veg tom sauce stuff which are both together simmering in the slow cooker now (will have some for tea and hopefully enough left for another meal after bub's arrival)  :D
Have 2 batches of bread on their 2nd rise, some for tea and the rest for lunches.  :)

I'm making meatballs and hidden veg tom sauce too :D

And it is delicious. Put it in a master foods sauce bottle and the kids are none the wiser. I think it tastes better.  Only alteration is that I put a chunk of crystallized ginger in it. Other than that, it was to the recipe.
