eek can't remember.
But what I normally do is tip out the water just leaving the amount you want to make the sauce (ie think how much sauce you want). Usually there isn't much water left so just tip a little out.

The first thing I cooked in the tmx was mashed potato and steamed veg.
Pretty similar to Judy.

Thank you very much!

We had Jamie Oliver's Piri Piri chicken (from the 30 min meals book) with rice and veg.
Made the piri piri sauce in the tmx, so easy and really really tasty - dd1 in particular loved it, on her favourites list.
Also cooked the rice and steamed veg in the tmx/varoma.

Oooh I'd love a copy of this recipe too, I'm sure we'd all love them.

I menu plan, limit the meat content of meals, buy fruit and veg from grocers and market stall. Pretty much only buy what is in season and/or on special. No bananas here at the moment. (if it's over $10 a kilo for anything it's usually a no, lol) Buy meat in bulk, vacuum pack and freeze.
Have used coops/suppliers for grains etc, but at the moment I'm very time poor and not making bread so not so much.
Grow some and have chickens for eggs.

Another who just doesn't see them on here.
I don't turn them off as I am always fascinated by what google comes up with on another forum I am on.

LOL!!

So weird I looked up this recipe earlier today when we were talking about poached eggs. I could have just waited a few hours and it would have been bumped into the unread threads, lol.

Just looking at the next you tube video, OMG how can they have copied that much without breaking copyright. The spatula, basket are exactly the same. the 'varoma' is other than the stainless steel thing (which I thought makes it that bit different along with the way it slots on). But really too much of a copy!!!

Very interesting.
I don't think it's as good as TMX and dont' like the side scale or the lcd display (is it just me but I find things break quicker with the extra technology, and the lcd on my slow cooker went many years ago but as it still cooks great for me I haven't replaced it, lol).
But for $1000 less I'd certainly be considering it if I was looking into buying a tmx. I don't think it looks $1000 less good ifykwim.

oooh that brulee looks divine!!

Maddy I would say I prefer stir fries done the traditional way, but TMX is so much easier and cleaner, lol. And still tastes great.

tonight we had Roast Lamb, roast potatoes, baked mushrooms, veg and yorkshire puddings.
The yorkshire pudding batter and the gravy were made in the TMX.  (and yes I know not traditional to have yorkies with lamb but they are a complete favourite in our house. )

I use frozen berries (bought frozen from the berry place) and not had a problem. Everytime I look at the liquid and panic but tip it in and works fine.
