Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Re: Crepes

I made the batter for these then forgot about them for a couple of days. I stirred everything back through and cooked them anyway and they were beautiful. I actually cooked them at night and simply reheated for brekkie. My kids love them and ask for them regularly. We have them with a generous smear of Tenina's Strawberry Jam. I'm looking forward to using them in a savoury dish too. 5/5 from us.

I love this loaf. Very easy. It'll be up there as a favourite along with the Vienna loaf. My boys and I have just had a beautiful smoked salmon and lettuce sandwich for lunch.

My four year old and I made these using leftover crumbs from the weetbix box. We topped with a simple chocolate icing. Lovely and very simple.

That chicken looks amazing. How I would love to tuck into some of that. What recipe is it?/

I hate to say it but I really do think it is one of the best TMX produced books I've got (and I do have a few  :D :D :D)

I DID NOT READ THIS!

Oh no Judy. That's awful. Glad you have something from the doctor. Hopefully you'll be able to see your DH in a few days.

I am beginning to think I should buy this book.

Me too!

Love NZ - you'll have a great time bedlam. So much to do and such natural beauty.

Good luck with the op Katie. Hope all goes well.

I'm still recovering from four days of food poisoning. You'll all be pleased to know that it was a non TMX meal!

Like the sound of those pear and raspberry muffins too. Have you put the recipe up?

Wow. What a deal. You don't live in Perth do you ? I would travel to be able to do that.

I'm in the Lockyer Valley. Apparently in the top ten most fertile areas in the world (although my garden evidently didn't get the message!). The oranges cost $4 for the whole box, the strawberries were $3 for all 6 trays of 500g. When I get bulk bargains I freeze it for smoothies, jams, sauces etc. a few weeks back I bought 10kg onions for $5. I just chopped in TMX, bagged and froze so I always have it in hand for recipes.
