I have the huge bowl (the oval one) and had a visit from my sister, so made this just for fun.
It was awesome with Dukkah. Next time I'm doubling it.

I had a huge day today.
Chocolate praline macarons, lemon macarons, lemon butter, home made pizzas for dinner, and a broccoli and goats cheese fritatta.

Oh my. Has anyone seen this week's Aldi catalogue?

Why. Why would you do it??

I am a guilty ex-thermochef owner. Hated the bloody thing. Everything burned and stuck. Couldn't get rid of it quick enough!
I'm so glad hubby was able to see the light.

If it's all they can afford, I'd honestly say to just cook manually. That's how much I hated it.

Oops that post didn't come up in my feed. Sorry if anyone got offended, I only tend to scroll on my phone so don't tend to see all the updates. I also specifically said my question was not intended to cause offense.

Anyway, welcome. We are meat and veg eaters also, but I tend to do a lot of salads in my Tm. Breads and rice also.

My biggest problem is that most of the recipes I find tend to be high in fat, but omitting cream and making use of options can fix that easily.

I love my veggies, and it's still pretty simple to include them on the side with what I cook.

Good luck convincing the wife... If she had any idea how hard I had to fight with my hubby to get my Tm, she'd know she is a very lucky girl indeed.

Dumb question, do you own a Thermomix Pete or do you think this is just a cooking forum for housewives? (please don't be offended)

Made this last night. I haven't done a chocolate drool like that for years.
Amazing.

Do you remove the orange skin? Sounds amazing!

Why waste your time with a chef? I had one and honestly, if you already have the tm31, you're buying cheap crap. With no support.
Something doesn't seem right to me. It's harder to use and doesn't have the same capabilities. I don't get it. Just get your everyday cookbook out and start cooking!

Speaking from experience here, I've had the cheaper one you mention. If you already have the Rolls Royce, why go buy the other one? It's utter crap in comparison!
