I made this 2 days ago and it has been a big hit with my kids and my husband. The ingredients were very easy to find and accessible also.

Well this was AMAZING. I added some mustard and white wine to the stock at the beginning but otherwise did it just as the recipe said. It was a huge hit, all my kids ate it, even my super fussy son. I can't believe how easy it is to have a great meal on the table with the thermomix! Thanks for the recipe xx

Would this freeze well? I always try to keep some pasta sauces frozen so can just cook pasta to go with them on busy weeknights.

Hey thanks everyone
I guess that is one selling point they use for the thermomix - that you can mill your own flour......well I thought I would never buy flour again !! oh well.....

There is lots of other kind of flour you can mill though I think? Like almond, coconut etc?

I just cannot wait to try this, one batch without the cocoa and sugar to add in cakes and things, and then the other as some milo. I can tell this place, and my thermomix,  is going to be life changing, seriously.

Get your husband to see a demo, my husband could not give our demonstrator his cc details quick enough after seeing the thermomix in action!

I only plan the evening meals. I sit down with lots of cookbooks and bits of paper round me and look through them. As I go I select what I'll cook this week. I may also keep some for the next week. I also note on the menu plan if anyone will be out or late that night. I note where the recipe is and what I need to buy to make it. This helps with the shopping list.

This is what I do too. I also write down what ingredients I will need for any cakes and things I will be making, but for breakies and lunches I usually just always buy the same kinds of things.
