Could someone tell me why half of the topics are missing from the forum or has it got something to do with my time and dates being out of whack. Thermomixer did what you suggested with the time thing and nothing has happened yet. The date up the top is still may 30.

I have found out a way to use up that coffee mixture that Bron posted and that I didn`t like. Just made the easy chocolate cake and instead of using cocoa powder put 2 tablespoons of the mix  in and it made the cake turn out real fudgy and yummy. So I hope that others can use this idea as well. Sandy

Could anyone tell me how to fix the time that is in the user info at the top of the page? At the moment it is telling me that it is May 29  2009 06:29:10 am  and it is actually May 29 2009 03:27:10  I have lost a few hours somewhere. So can anyone help?  Thanks Sandy

Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong when I make incing sugar?  I put it in and blitz it for the time they say and yet when I make icing it turns out real grainy. Tastes bloody terrible.  Sandy

I was just reading some of the forums and wondered if some of you could post your recipes for lamb shanks? Mine don`t always turn out the way that I would like them to. This has nothing to do with the tmx, I doubt if they would even fit in it. :D :D Thanks Sandy

Chit Chat / What to do with yoghurt???

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on how to use the yoghurt that didn`t work out? Like most of you who have tried making it, mine didn`t work either.  But I have made the dulce de leche and that tastes better than the can of condensed milk that I used to boil to make caramel. The first time I made it I used the full cream milk and long life cream and it worked so the next time I used 2% low fat long life milk and long life cream and it worked just the same. Bloody beautiful :-*
  With the yoghurt I was going to whip it up with some mango and maybe coconut essence and try to make some frozen slices. It would be interesting to see some of your suggestions.  Thanks Sandy

Recipe Requests / Orange butter

Hello again to everyone.  I have just been wondering if anyone has any recipes for  orange/mandarin butter?  I`m thinking of using the lemon curd recipe and just substituting the orange/mandarin juice. Do you think that it would work out the same or would I have to do it different somehow? Or would you use half and half of the lemon and then add the other juice? I might try it out today and get back to you with the results if any. I seen on another site a recipe for mango butter that I also might try. I have also made passionfruit butter with nearly the same recipe as the lemon curd but not in the TM.  Thanks to anyone that can help.  Sandy

Recipe Requests / Egg Custard

Hoping someone can help!  Trying to make a custard that just uses eggs. Last one that I tried was 1 litre of milk [2%]  4 eggs  2tblsp of sugar & vanilla. Cooked it for 12 min on 90 and on 4 and it tasted great but it looked liked it had curdled. So have I done something wrong or is that just the way that it goes??? Or doesn`t it work unless you put some flour in it.  Thanks Sandy

Hi Everyone. Just wondering if any body would have the recipe for salted caramel  maple ice cream that they are having at the new xmas demos. As I live in the bush and can`t get to any demos I would like to try the recipe. Sounds pretty tasty. Thanks all
