I could never resist the smell of the onions and sausages cooking Chookie and always bought one no matter what time of day it was.  It was the only way I enjoyed a sausage.

I made Pastrami from RTE.  it will be finished off tomorrow. https://www.recipetineats.com/easy-homemade-pastrami/
I also made a garlic Foccacia from https://cloudykitchen.com/blog/no-knead-focaccia/
It’s lovely and crunchy. I used less oil than she does and I used garlic oil.
I also have a rye SD rising and made a batch of jam drops. It’s great to be back cooking.

I made Chookie’s Rum and Raisin Banana loaf today. Bananas were $2.50 so I bought extra.

The Pastrami I made a couple of days ago.

Oh wow, that all looks amazing cookie. You’re really letting loose in the kitchen and I bet the family are very happy about that too!

I made a small batch of smoked cod/creamed corn mornay today. 1/4 of the recipe will give me 3 meals, 2 of which I’ll freeze and serve mixed with fine egg noodles

Great cooking Cookie. Glad you can get back to it.
I’ve been experimenting with corn fritters. I make the mixture and cook a small fritter, then adjust the flavourings. And do same again. I made these GFAnd LF.
Made RTE Blueberry muffins. Not all that happy with them. Will give them another go as it may be my oven.

In our 'cleaning up; I found a recipe for a Choc Chip and dried fruit slice. I made it, but haven't tried it yet. I also made a Classic Loaf.

Cookie that slice sounds nice but without the choc chips for DH.

Yesterday I made 3 jars of tomato chutney with tomatoes from our bushes.  Sadly I don't think we will get much of a harvest this year.

Dropped in on a friend yesterday and came away with a load of tomatoes and basil - looking for a cashew or almond pesto recipe now.

Marina, There are lots of recipes for this on the internet. I have two Thermomix  cashew pesto recipes.  One from Recipe Community (they have several) and one from TM Essentials.  Maybe one of these will suit.
