Cute Avan Cookie, cosy and warm.
My calendar arrived today too.  I thought I would have a go at the polish vanilla slice for DH's  birthday on the weekend.

That's a long wait for delivery Denise but at least it's in the pipeline.

I have a Hoover upright but I need a second vacuum cleaner and was thinking along the lines of something like you've bought. I just haven't been able to get out and look at anything yet.  My old Dyson died just as I was finishing cleaning Mum's unit when she moved into care a few months ago.

You've got a few days to find that special top cookie, good luck.

Chookie the chairs sound gorgeous. CC it looks like you may be either going to the laundromat or hand washing. The deal is great, it always helps if you can have the old one removed.
I have a Dyson upright cleaner which we love. I used a heap of Fly Buys points to get a Black and Decker hand held cleaner. We never earn enough here to fly anywhere.

Cookie love the Avan.
After the mammoth effort of decluttering, I suggested to Ral we book into a Motel for the duration of the selling of the house. He suggested an Avan after seeing yours.

I love the Dyson Cordless.its so light and easy to use.Amazing what I vacuumed up in the carpets yesterday ;D

There are no Laundromats around here Cookie so I will have to do a bit of handwashing :P

I made the effort and went to Harvey Norman today to buy my vacuum cleaner, a Dyson V6 like yours Denise, may be a different model though - there were quite a few choices in the V6 range.  My SIL has one too and having met up with her at the nursing home this morning, I was all fired up when I left and heading straight off to HN.  Only problem is that when I got it home, there was no hole to put the recharge cord in so after phoning them, I have to make another trip tomorrow.

That's a nuisance Judy.
Chookie there would be almost no housework in the AVan.  ;D even in our big van housework is done very quickly.

We had our first waffles tonight. I really enjoyed them. I served them with apricots, stewed with a little maple syrup and custard.

As I expected, the problem was me and not the Dyson LOL.  I'd put it in it's docking station which covered up the hole for the power cord  :-))   The girls at the check-out soon sorted it out for me.

Eureka!  I popped over to a small dress shop in Willeton and found heaps of things I could wear to the wedding tomorrow. I bought this and also another lovely top I will bring to Forumfest.

It's a sort of very colourful top with a sheer three quarter length coat thing to wear over it. I'm really pleased as it feels lovely.
