Marina, it’s a Cookidoo recipe. DH will have to grow a gluten free starter. It shouldn’t be difficult as it’s based on buckwheat flour.

Do you remember, SOS ? I made some white sauce from this powder mix and used it as a base for chicken and mushroom pot pies. Lovely.

I’m sure it will taste nice.Probably beautifully loaded with apples. Have been given a small number of figs. Will make jam. Yesterday I made some Anzacs with Macadamia nuts. They turned out massive. I used the wrong size ice cream scoop. 6

Cookie, that is warm. Our nights are down to 0, days still nice. About 16.
Yesterday made Mandarin Marmalade in TMX, another 12 bread rolls, 2 chicken and mushroom pot pies. 12

Marina, I’ll do a trial run of the vegan scones and let you know.
Yesterday I made 12 bread rolls and 20 SD crumpets. Also a pot of soup from the lamb bones left over from the roast. Added soup mix and lots of veggies. A handful of parsley at the end just lifted the flavours. 13

I’m having an afternoon tea for a small group of Probus ladies. I’m making scones. 3 different types. Plain with jam and cream, pumpkin cheese with Australian bush spices and a third one I’ve just seen a recipe for a vegan recipe with Rosemary and blueberries. I’ll try these today. 15
