Very busy jobs, Mab and Judy.
Iím having another go at the garage. Still a lot to go to the op shop.
My handyman is coming today to put up a hose reel and a bracket to hang up brooms and rakes.
The fire alarms went off. They needed the batteries replaced. What a racket.

Only the cooking I mentioned.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Visited my GP today and made arrangements for 2nd shingles shot plus flu plus COVID injections next week (that should be a fun visit) prepping for my hospital stay.

Ouch, Marina. My GP waits 2 weeks between each injection.
Hair cut and blow wave, Gym, afternoon tea with Probus friend and off to Melbourne to stay one night at The Royce. Tomorrow, morning shopping and dinner at Farmers Daughterís. Home.

Your GP has undoubtedly got it right, Chookie, but it is getting too close to my operation now to allow that amount of time between the various injections.  I cannot imagine it will be much fun, but hopefully it will serve its purpose and keep me protected during my night in hospital and subsequent recovery at home.

Enjoy your visit to Melbourne, it's a bit dreicht at the moment, but will hopefully improve whilst you are here - I'll let the weather forecasters know you are coming and see if they can do anything about it for you.

Ouch Marina. However I see your reasoning.

Understand Marina. Thanks for sending the good weather.
The Royce Hotel was lovely. Fab service but the food for breakfast not fantastic. I admit Iím pretty critical. Had scrambled eggs with crab. Doesnít work for me. Smoked salmon much better. They had home made crumpets on the menu so just had to try them. Absolutely awful. They were really just large piklets, $22 for 2.
Will stay there but not have breakfast there. .
We had dinner in the Deli at the Farmers Daughter restaurant. There were 4 of us. We had the set menu and it was just as delicious as last time. They were very busy and itís not surprising. The service is very attentive but not intrusive. They are particular about any food sensitivity. The food is simple but fresh and beautifully cooked. For $85 dollars I think it is good value.
