lunch box snacks
« on: February 15, 2013, 10:20:22 pm »
not sure where to put this

got the idea from F/B, i think  :-))
its the no fuss bread dough with a 10min rise in the bowl

roll, top, spary with water and in the oven until cooked

i am thinking they would be great for lunch boxes

my girls  loved them

with the off cuts i gave it a good knead for about 1min and did the 2nd rise, knock down  shape rest for 10 mins and bake

i don't need a recipe i'm italian

Great idea - my kids have had mini pizzas or cheesymite scrolls all week, so time for something different.  (actually I think the kids would be happy with same every day, but DH also takes a lunchbox now, and he likes a change!)

You could probably do them like pizza pockets as long as the ingredients won't make the bread go too soggy ;)

Yum! Saw this on FB too. Great idea.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
