Amy, I usually defrost in the fridge in summer, but it is so cold here in winter I defrost on the bench. It is now in the fridge defrosting as it won't be needed until Saturday night now.

I don't like to microwave to defrost as I hate microwaved meat. It never defrosts fully in the middle and starts cooking on the outside.

Has anyone used the Varoma to defrost?

Sorry Amy it was maddy.... silly me  :-[

I hope your crisis isnt too major. Have a swig of grog and then think of the crisis.... repeat until crisis disappears.
