Friends down the road gave us a heap of mandarins the other day. This morning I made a mandarin cake using the whole mandarin. I will be interested to see what it tastes like.

i made a slice today. It is delicious. I will put up the photo and link when I go back onto my ipad.
I have also started a rye SD loaf. I thought I had killed my rye starter as it just did not want to rise this morning. I ended up giving it a jolly good stir and sat it in very slightly warm water and it was happy then. I wasn't worried as I knew I could make another one from my white starter.
The slice is from the Woolworths magazine. https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/recipes/blueberry-banana-and-pepita-oat-bars

Thanks Cookie. Does look nice. I will make it.
Today I am experimenting with marmalade in TMX.  I’m adding a lime to one batch and Markut lime leaves to another. I tried one lot with the lime leaves, nice but not strong enough. We grow the leaves which are tropical so very precious in our climate. Our Meyer lemon tree is producing very well. I think it is the chook litter.

Nice cooking ladies.  The lasagne looks nice Chookie, I might have to have a day off and do some cooking.  Cookie your slice looks good, thanks for the link.

I made some naan bread today to have with dinner tonight.  They came out quite large and rustic looking but taste good.  I have tried several times to load a picture and can't get it accepted.  Message keeps telling me to contact my administrator.

Um Judy, 2 of my favourites.
Mab, I have the same problem with Tapatalk.  I just keep loading it. It can take 4 or 5 times.  Once you get it to accept one it will then load more quickly.
