Transferring photos from iPad via Flickr to Forum. Help please
« on: November 06, 2014, 10:02:47 pm »
I can no longer use the new Tapatalk'snew programme to post photos on Forum.
I can get my photos into Flickr but can't work out how to transfer them to the Forum.
Is there a problem with iPad/ Flickr/ forum?
Help please.

I don't know anything about Flickr.

But why can't you use Tapatalk?
My Tapatalk works and I'm using it now. Where I'm writing my reply now, to the left is a grey cross, click on that, a bigger reply box appears with icons, use the camera icon if you want to take a photo, or use the picture icon (the one to the right of the camera icon) to select a photo you already have saved on your iPad. Hope that works!

I wouldn't have a clue, sorry Chookie. I had avoided updating tapatalk for ages as I could use it. However a couple of weeks ago it told me that it wouldn't put my photos on as I hadn't updated. I did and I can no longer select the size for my photos but can upload them.
As Katie said there are a couple of grey icon things. I will try and take a screen shot.
Here is the screen shot. I first had to send it, then edit it though.

Maybe someone who understands these things can help you. I'm sure I have confused the issue even more.

Chookie, I use the same as Cookie.  Don't have any problems other than very large photos!
Good luck.

I keep getting a message that the email address is already in use.
Then  the BBC code thingy,  I press IMG.  Then what?.

Um not sure. I don't go near the BBC code option.

Awhile ago I was having problems with Tapatalk on my iPhone (iPad was working fine). I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it, it's working fine now.  You could try that?

I'm so glad you got it working Chookie. The forum without your photos would be horrid.

So happy you have it working Chookie, always look forward to seeing your wonderful photos.  I use Tapatalk but since the update have not been able to size the photos either.
