Mab, that’s great. I’ve been boiling eggs in mine. Wonder why I have not been doing this before. Bought a box of jam apricots from Wilson’s. I’ve discovered that everyone loves apricot jam. It’s just apricots, lemon juice and sugar. TMX 7 has the option of cooking with lid off. The temperature will not go over 100 degrees. Also, when speed 2 or lower is used the lid is not locked. However if you don’t select lid off option, the machine stops if you remove the lid. Hope that makes sense.

Warm here yesterday and today. Nice for a change. Spent time on the phone yesterday with new energy provider. With the solar and battery I needed to change. I tried to fill in the info on line but made a mess so rang and they did it for me. Today I’m going to the opening of an art exhibition.

Gave some bread rolls away. No Fuss recipe. I was pleased when she said best rolls ever. No preservatives, just simple bread. Tonight, simple salad from garden and small tin of salmon, with a bread roll.

More jam . Apricot and Berry and Nectarine. Made Italian meatball pasta. Used meatballs from Wilson’s. So much nicer than the ones from the supermarket. Mango fluff.

Yum, Cookie. Were they made with Nan’s Mince? Making a mini Rye and Caraway seed loaf today. I’ll put it on before I go to the gym. Takes 4 hours.

Mab, I think most mind games are good for the brain. Marina, running a business would be giving your mind a good work out. Gym and hairdresser today. We have had 3 warm days in a row. Lovely. G P and Specialist visit yesterday. All good. I’ve had my Pizzelli machine rewired and made some yesterday.

I think one of the main benefits of cooking with the TMX is that we don’t add all those nasty things that are in a lot of bought stuff. Judy , well done. I made the best small loaf yet in the small bread machine. The recipes take 3/4 teaspoon of yeast. Previously I’d been adding 1 teaspoon of yeast. This was obviously too much.
